  1. drcldrcl says:

difficult to answer. some nuts and seeds are ok. You should look up the carb content of each

  2. sweepbopper says:

Are nuts/seeds allowed? I did not see them listed either to consume or avoid?

  3. EraserRadio says:

What the hell is that noise at 19:34 !?

  4. Philip Hackett says:

L-Arginine reverses heart disease and cleanses the vascular system. Purchase from Amazon and there is a book ‘No More Heart Attacks’. Resveratrol is anti ageing. Vitamin 17 obtained from Apricot Kernels’ (Amazon) prevents Cancer if you eat 40 daily and cures Cancer if you eat 100 daily. Liver Cancer is thus often cured in about eight weeks.

  5. eaton3211 says:

He’s overweight. Another fat fat pusher.

  6. suraj joshi says:

It would be a shame if you did not bulk up when these other people accomplish it so easily using Lean Body Maximizer (Look it up on google).

  7. drcldrcl says:

nobody is quite sure about the cause of diabetes. But atkins certainly didnt die at 49 or from heart disease. its intended purpose is to improve health and it does so – by lowering blood pressure, blood glucose, Pattern B cholesterol, LDL-P, IGF-1 and of course visceral fat.

  8. LCHFinCanada says:

Wow, you have a great deal of misleading and incorrect information.

    1. Diabetes is NOT caused by over-eating fat. Neither Type 1 or 2.
    2. Atkins died at 72 from a head injury. It’s public record.

Perhaps you should do some research before making wild statements like you’ve done.

  9. drcldrcl says:

maybe you need to do some reading on the cause of atherosclerosis.

  10. tadaa11 says:

    – Lowering blood sugar levels is a good thing and that can account for the positive cholesterol and lower BMI. This is all short term unfortunately as heart disease, diabetes and cancers progress, which means that disproportionately the diet will have to lower carbs to maintain the same results. Come back when you can reverse heart disease with this diet. That is the underlying condition after all.

  11. tadaa11 says:

The reason this diet might work for the intended purpose, not health btw, is that people have the beginning stages of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer. Diabetes is caused by years of over eating fat, which causes insulin resistance, therefore high blood sugar. So some bright person said well if we can stop eating sugar, then that gets rid of the some of the symptoms. What they leave out is that your going to die from one of the above diseases. Atkins died 49 from heart disease Questions?

  12. drcldrcl says:

very highly recommended, coconut oil is not easily stored so almost all gets burned up laving you feeling energetic. can be fried, baked with, added to dressings or even added to coffee

  13. Sam11373 says:

What do you think of using coconut oil?

  14. noeproductions says:

eh bacon, processed foods tend to have nitrates. I avoid those while on an Atkins or keto diet.

  15. sicteer69 says:

So what’s the deal with all this doubt and negative criticism on this diet (claiming that there’s no scientific evidence proving this diet effective)?

  16. drcldrcl says:

thanks but with the exception of kepler i have already looked in to them all. None have proved you shouldnt eat meat. I eat plenty of vegetables and I am now perfectly healthy after continuing to follow the no starch no sugar diet. I just get my calories from fat instead of carbs

  17. 300gates says:

Youtube has several videos from the best doctors in the world, watch some of them and make your own mind about what a healthy human nutrition and weight loss should look like:
    Dr John MacDougall
    Dr Neil Barnard
    Dr Colin Campbell
    Dr Caldwell Esselstyn
    Dr Michael Kepler
These people fighting for the truth about nutrition, and have cured hundreds if not thousands of people from diabetes, obesity, even cancer, and many other “chronicle” diseases only by changing their diets for a plant based diet.

  18. 300gates says:

    He says: “watch the carbs”
How would he explain Dr John McDougall successfully curing people of various diseases by simply putting them on a starch based diet?
Or athletes going vegan for better performance?

  19. drcldrcl says:

    i wonder who’s right then

  20. 300gates says:

Why be vegetarian? or vegan, which is even better!
Dr. MacDougall answers this questions beautifully and comprehensively on this talk:
The Role of Meat in the Human Diet – John McDougall

  21. 300gates says:

It still does not make any sense to me.
“Excess fat in your diet blocks the absorption of sugars by the cells, elevating the blood sugar, causing diabetes” Dr. Neil Barnard –> this doctor has cured people with type 2 diabetes by only eliminating excess fat from their diets.
Why more doctors don’t encourage the ultimate diet for human health and weight loss, which is a simple WHOLE FOODS, PLANT BASED DIET, free of refined foods, such as oil, sugar, flower, etc?
